We were utterly reliant on Checkatrade to find us a trustworthy expert for our repair job. We registered and advertised our project details, but unfortunately, we were left in the lurch.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade puts the emphasis on their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

It all starts with their sneaky fees, which they hide in the fine print. Then, there's the terrible helpline that's about as useful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to get your money back, but it's like chasing ghosts.

We thought we were doing the right thing by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so reliable with their qualified traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Right away, the communication from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and gave us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to discuss the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up having to hire someone else by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's support was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the get more info trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling disappointed and suggest looking elsewhere for your tradesman needs.

My experience with Checkatrade was a complete shambles. I hired a trader through their service to complete some vital home repairs. They seemed legitimate at first, but it resulted in a horrendous ordeal.

Although I sent the full amount upfront, the work never started. Contact ceased. It's been weeks, and I'm still left with a house in disarray.

Checkatrade has been useless throughout this whole process. They offered no solutions. It feels like I've been taken advantage of.
